Dear Generations Patient,

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Emily Dermer is joining Generations Family Health Centre as our 7th physician. Dr. Dermer comes to us after working at a UHN-affiliated academic Family Medicine clinic for the past year, and brings with her experience providing inpatient care at St. Michael's Hospital. Dr. Dermer will be joining our office full-time in October, but is now beginning the process of building her practice at GFHC.

At this time, Dr. Dermer is pleased to welcome new patients to her practice. She currently has availability to accept family members and friends of existing patients, who do not already have a family doctor. Additionally, Dr. Dermer is accepting children who are transitioning out of pediatric care.

If/when we are able to enrol the patient, our office will send an email to offer an initial appointment date for a "Meet & Greet” visit.

Finally, we kindly ask that prospective patients do not call our office to follow up. Recent experience has shown us that this can overwhelm our phone lines and create delays. The online form and protocols are meant to streamline the onboarding process for New Patients, and we will be managing the process exclusively online.
